The Perry Lakes Hawks Basketball Association (PLHBA) proudly delivers one of Western Australia’s largest and most vibrant domestic competitions, with over 3,500 registered players participating each season.

Our Junior Domestic Competition (JDC) is made up of teams from seven volunteer-governed affiliated domestic clubs, creating strong community connections and clear pathways for young athletes.

To further support player development, PLHBA also operates the Junior Development League (JDL) — a high-quality, competitive program designed to challenge and elevate emerging players in a structured and supportive environment.

Together, these programs provide a complete basketball pathway — from grassroots participation to high-performance development.

  The Perry Lakes Hawks Junior Domestic Competition (JDC) is one of Western Australia’s largest junior basketball competitions, providing a structured and community-focused competition for young athletes.

  The 2026 season will run from:

  20/21 March 2026 – 11/12 September 2026

  The competition is delivered in partnership with our affiliated Junior Domestic Clubs and is designed to:

  • Maximise participation
  • Provide a strong community-based club environment
  • Support player development

  • • Maintain clear pathways within the Hawks program
